1. Overview

QC Weld Audit Pro ("the App") is developed and operated by QC Pro Apps. This policy explains what data we collect, how we use it, and your rights. We are committed to protecting the privacy of all users.

2. Data We Collect

What we process depends on how you use the service:

• iOS app: inspection records are stored locally on your device.
• Web portal: your name, email, company, and WAP records are stored in Supabase so you can access them after signing in.
• Payments: Stripe processes web subscriptions and Apple processes iOS subscriptions. We do not receive or store complete card details.
• Demo protection: the email entered for a demo and a salted hash of the requesting IP address are used to enforce the demo allowance and prevent abuse.
• Diagnostics: analytics and crash reporting are disabled by default in the iOS app and enabled only after consent.
• Website analytics: basic page and checkout interaction data may be processed to measure site performance and conversion.
• Support: information you provide when contacting us.

3. How We Use Data

• To improve app stability and performance
• To authenticate web users, sync their WAP records, and enforce plan limits
• To process and manage subscriptions through Stripe or Apple
• To generate a requested PDF report
• To respond to support requests

We do not sell, share, or transfer your data to third parties for marketing purposes.

4. Data Storage

iOS inspection records are stored in the app’s on-device database. Web portal records are stored in Supabase and protected by account-level access controls. Data is encrypted in transit using HTTPS/TLS. Do not share your sign-in credentials.

5. PDF Reports

When you request a PDF, report HTML may be sent through our authenticated Supabase proxy to PDFShift solely to render that PDF. The generated file is returned to your device or browser. Share actions occur only when you choose them.

6. Third-Party Services

The App uses the following third-party platforms:

• Supabase — web authentication, cloud records, and server functions
• Stripe — web subscription billing and customer billing portal
• Apple App Store — iOS subscription billing
• PDFShift — requested PDF rendering
• Firebase — consent-controlled iOS analytics and crash reporting
• IONOS — website hosting

7. Your Rights

On iOS, deleting the app removes locally stored WAP records. In the web portal, Settings includes Delete WAP Data & Cancel Web Subscription. This immediately cancels an active Stripe web subscription and permanently removes WAP cloud and browser records while keeping your shared QC Pro sign-in and data belonging to other QC Pro apps. You may also request access, correction, export, restriction, or deletion by emailing support@qc-pro-apps.com.

8. Children

The App is intended for professional use and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect data from children.
