• Payment data — handled entirely by Stripe. We do not store card numbers or financial details on our servers.
• Device data — browser type, IP address, and usage analytics collected via Firebase Analytics (anonymised).

2. How We Use Your Data

• To provide and operate the QC Weld Audit Pro service.
• To process payments via Stripe and manage your subscription.
• To send transactional emails (account confirmation, subscription key, support replies).
• To improve the app based on anonymised usage analytics.
• To comply with legal obligations.

3. Data Storage and Security

Your data is stored on secure servers within the European Economic Area. We use industry-standard encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS) and at rest. Weld audit records and project data you create are stored locally on your device first and synced to our servers when online.

QC Weld Audit Pro is a professional tool intended for adults (18+) working in the welding and fabrication industry. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

We may update this policy periodically. We will notify you of significant changes by email or via an in-app notice. Continued use of the service after changes constitutes acceptance.
