Terms of Service
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of QC Weld Audit Pro, operated by Qc-pro-apps Ltd ("we", "us", "our"), registered in Scotland, United Kingdom. By creating an account or using our service, you agree to these Terms.
1. The Service
QC Weld Audit Pro provides digital tools for welding inspectors, QC engineers, and fabrication companies, including weld audit records, pWPS documentation, welder qualification tracking, NDT request logging, and PDF report generation. The service is available as an iOS app and web portal.
2. Accounts
- You must be 18 or older and a professional in the welding, inspection, or fabrication industry to use this service.
- You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.
- You must provide accurate information when creating your account.
- One account may be used by one person (Inspector Pro) or multiple team members under a Company plan.
3. Subscriptions and Payment
- Paid plans (Inspector Pro, Company) are billed monthly or annually via Stripe.
- Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled before the renewal date.
- All prices are shown in USD and exclusive of any applicable taxes.
- Free plan users are subject to the usage limits stated on our pricing page.
- We reserve the right to change pricing with 30 days' notice to existing subscribers.
4. Cancellation and Refunds
- You may cancel your subscription at any time from your account settings. Access continues until the end of the current billing period.
- We do not offer refunds for partial billing periods.
- If you believe there has been a billing error, contact us within 14 days at support@qcweldauditpro.com.
5. Your Data and Content
- You own all weld audit records, project data, and other content you create within the app.
- You grant us a limited licence to store and process your content solely to provide the service.
- You are responsible for ensuring the accuracy of your weld audit records and that they comply with applicable welding standards and regulations.
6. Acceptable Use
You must not use QC Weld Audit Pro to:
- Submit false or fraudulent weld inspection records.
- Violate any applicable welding standards, regulations, or codes of practice.
- Attempt to reverse engineer, copy, or resell the software.
- Use the service in a way that could harm us or other users.
7. Professional Disclaimer
QC Weld Audit Pro is a record-keeping and documentation tool. It does not replace the judgement of a qualified welding inspector or engineer, and does not constitute professional welding inspection advice. You remain responsible for ensuring your weld audits and QC procedures comply with all applicable standards (ISO 3834, AWS D1.1, EN 1090, ASME IX, etc.) and relevant regulatory requirements.
8. Availability and Uptime
We aim to provide a reliable service but do not guarantee 100% uptime. The service may be temporarily unavailable for maintenance. The app is designed to work offline so short outages should not affect on-site work.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Qc-pro-apps Ltd shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of or inability to use the service. Our total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim.
10. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you breach these Terms. On termination, you may request an export of your data within 30 days. After 30 days, your data may be permanently deleted.
11. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of Scotland and the United Kingdom. Any disputes shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Scotland.
